Congratulations's to Frater Draco Malleus and Brother David, on taking their Second Degree at Thelesis Lodge on June 26th. Special thanks to Brother Howard and our dear friends at Thelesis for holding the event. We were bummed that we couldn't attend more on the following day, but a special shout out to those folks who took their Initiations on the 27th as well.

New dates have been added to the online calendar for the next quarter. Hard copies should be sent out this weekend.

A handful of news to add here...

First off, the incense workshop scheduled for June 12th is being postponed due to a conflict in scheduling. We are looking forward to giving a future update on this once another date for the event can be scheduled.

Next, we are happy to announce that Frater Draco Malleus (Dragon Hammer) has been appointed as our new Secretary. As someone who has helped us as an assistant secretary in the past, he formally accepted our invitation to the role of Officer a few weeks ago. As some of you may know, he has been Deaconing for us for a while, becoming our primary "Deacon in training" and doing a top-notch job at it. He has also been our primary “go to guy” when dealing with the website, techie help, etc... playing a huge role in banishing the gremlins from the machines. Preparing to take his Second Degree later this month, I'm assured that he's not biting off more than he can chew <grin>. It was only a natural progression to offer him the role if he was interested in it. We are happy he accepted it. Indeed, we look forward to working with him on this level and all Secretary mail will now be forwarded to him.

Another update is that we've added a new Web Page to our "Journal" tab. Since this is an O.T.O. "members only" section, those interested in gaining the password can request it from us. The same goes with other "passwords" to restricted areas.

Good news from Brother T.J.P., as he is now the proud father of a bouncing baby girl. Congratulations to him and Krista on this happy occasion. Yay!!!

Still working on a second "Oasis Art" page, which should be up and running soon. Again, look for more updates soon regarding these web pages, our calendar dates, and more.

3/27/10 e.v.

Advanced dates have been placed on our calendar. Hardcopy calendars are soon to come. We are expecting a few changes with the calendar, possibly adding an event or two. Keep posted for updates.

A special thanks to those individuals who attended our recent "Goetia Workshop". Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we hope that some questions were answered, perhaps even addressing some of the misconceptions about the Lesser Key and it's Magick. Although we probably won't be adding another Goetia Workshop in the next quarter, we're hoping to offer another one in July or August.

1/12/10 e.v.

The Calendar has been updated with new dates. Hardcopy calendars are being out later this week. Take note of the Goetia Workshop which we are proposing. Since this is our first time offering such an event, we're hoping to have this first meeting more as an open discussion. We hope to have similar "Evocations" down the road.

12/14/09 e.v.

Congratulations to our new Minervals, Brother Zob and Brother T.J., who received their initiations on Saturday. We wish to give them a warm hearty welcome into our Oasis. Special thanks to everyone who showed up to greet our Initiates and for their support and participation.

11/11/09 e.v.

A Fiscal meeting has been added to the calendar for the end of December.

Our Gallery has a new section, featuring the art of our Oasis Members. We are quite excited about this project and anyone who wishes to donate/submit material is welcomed to do so. It is a password protected area which means O.T.O. members only are to have access to the pages. Please contact us if you want the passwords. We plan on adding more pages with time.

To appease our non-members, another Crowley page is being added.

10/9/09 e.v.

New dates were added to the online calendar. Minerval Initiations have been scheduled for December. All candidates who have applications are instructed to get all paperwork to us a.s.a.p. The cut off date for Inititation Fees and paperwork is November 7th.

Hard copy calendars are being printed this weekend and should mailed out shortly.

On Sept, 19th 2009, the "Witches Masked Ball" is being held this year at the Brook Country Club. Tickets can be purchased at Celtic Myth and Moonlight in West Reading, and cost $30.00 a seat. For more information, check it out www.witchesmaskedball.weebly.com

New calendar dates have been posted for the next quarter and hard-copies will be sent out sometime this week.

Also, I would like to thank the folks at Thelesis Lodge, especially Brothers Brian and Sister April, for their help during yesterdays Mass at Thelesis Lodge. I was quite happy to participate by playing Priest. A shout out to Eric and Stephen for their help as "children" and to everyone who showed up.

For another plug, one may look into attending another event Tahuti Lodge is holding in September. The Musicka Mystica Maxima looks like it's going to be an awesome event. For more information, you can contact Tahuti Lodge, or feel free to write us here at Xanadu Oasis. We would be happy to forward more information if needed.

6/8/09 e.v.

We would like to take this opportunity to inform our local membership of a regional event which is being held at Tahuti Lodge in NYC. On July 25th, the Thelemic author, J.Daniel Gunther is giving his lecture "Mend Me This Shoe, That I May Walk, Finding The Fifth Power Of The Sphinx." Afterwards there will be a book signing. This looks like it's going to an interesting event as the author is a member of the A:.A:.. For more info, check out the official site...

One other plug... on June 27th, we will be attending Mass at Thelesis Lodge. If anyone is interesting in tagging along, let us know, as there may be space available in our vehicle(s).

As a last note, I'd like to thank Soror Blasphomet and Frater Dragonhammer for helping out with the Gnostic Mass this past weekend. We did take pictures, but alas, no action shots. Mainly just Temple photo's. Still, we hope to add them to the Mass Journal soon.
